I’m taking my lunch and thought I would go to the Kid-to-Kid to pick up some clothes for my dear Pepper-oo. (If you don’t know what the Kid-to-Kid is, it’s a place where you can buy gently used kids clothes. I don’t know what it is – but I can’t bring myself to buy new clothes for Pepper. Horrible huh? She just grows really fast! You should ask Shylene how much clothes she’s gotten for lil’ Grace – it’s kind of ridiculous!)
Anyway, I was driving behind this car who was behind the bus.
We’re going along and I see a women outraged and throwing gestures at the bus. The bus didn’t stop for her. I thought how horrible. Public transportation is worse enough but getting missed is pretty bad. The next bus could be 15-60mins.
So I make it about a block and did a U-turn.
Rolled down the window and asked her if she need a ride because I saw the bus completely miss her. Grateful, she hopped in and needed a ride to local hospital. Apparently, yesterday the hospital had given her really heavy medication and she couldn’t drive home and she was returning today to get it. She called the public transportation hotline and they said it would be another hour n’a half til the next bus would come.
So that’s my good deed for the season, I doubt Brad reads this til the next year so I won’t get scolded for picking up random strangers.
