Estate Sale Recipes – Hello Dolly Cookie bars recipe

So I’m a huge estate sale junkie – meaning, I try to go to them whenever I can.  Most of them are a bust but there when you hit those gems and get something good it just makes your day.

I’ve been collecting recipes and any recipe boxes I see and I thought it would be fun to make recipes that I find.  I hope ya’ll can join along for the fun (here’s a link to the Flickr group) ~ I’m much a foodie as a quilter.

Comments

  1. I have had these many times over the years and they are decadent. Happy eating.

  2. These were my aunt’s favorite things to make for the holidays, so I had them every year growing up, as well as making them myself many times. Kind of addicting! (What a fun little hobby btw, these recipe boxes!)

  3. My mom and I make these at Christmas every year and they’re one of my favorites! We always use finely chopped almonds but I’ll have to give walnuts a try!
