Vintage Quilt Revival Block Along


I’ve been working feverishly to finish the top and the back of the quilt and I’m really happy with it. I followed the general guidelines on finishing the top from the book:

Instead of solid corner stone blocks, I did 3.5 x 3.5 (unfinished) hour glasses using Mrs Red Pepper’s tutorial. I just made it a randon hour glass:

I sashed each block in RK Quilters Linen.

It’s at the longarm quilter and I can’t wait to see what she does with it:

    Sukie– thank you for hosting this block-along! I had so much fun and I loved getting to see how everyone else interpreted the blocks! This deff helped motivate me to make two blocks a week! I’m lagging behind on getting the quilt top finishes b/c I haven’t decided how I want to finish it off!

    I appreciate all the time and effort you put into making this happen and keeping it fun! You’re the best!!
